STUDENTS

At DLS, classes are typically 25 to 28 children per class, with a teacher and a teacher’s assistant. That means each kid gets plenty of personal attention. Plus, while other public schools may have had to cut or reduce physical education, art or music classes, these are integral parts of our immersion curriculum.

About half of our students come from the nearby Stapleton and Park Hill neighborhoods, but we also have students from all over the Denver Metro area.

No jeans, yoga pants, sweat pants or track pants may be worn at any time.  Leggings may not be worn without a skort, skirt or dress.

Spirit wear shirts may be worn on Fridays with uniform bottoms.  Spirit wear may be purchased through the PTA or at school events.  Please email Lyndsay in the office for more information: Lyndsay@denverlanguageschool.org.

Vintage and “older” logos are completely acceptable this year for uniforms as we have transitioned to newer logos.  Short socks and shoes may be of any color or style, as long as shoes are closed toed and safe for play while at school.

Meet Some DLS Students

Our students are as diverse as the languages and cultures they study. From all ethnicities, income levels and backgrounds, they add to the richness of our learning environment. Meet Robert and Brandy:

Brandy S. age 6, (a brief bio, how long she has been at DLS, his favorite subjects, a quote about why she likes the school)
