Enrollment

The Denver Language School is a Mandarin Chinese/Spanish K-8 charter school that was approved by Denver Public Schools in June, 2009. Denver Language School will open in August 2010 with 200 students in grades K-2 (100 kindergarten-50 Mandarin, 50 Spanish; 50 in each grade, first and second, classes of 25 in each target language.). Denver Language School will add a grade a year. Through the total immersion process, Denver Language School will make the target language both the medium of instruction and the object of instruction.
